The baumer tachogenerator is a robust industry standard Tachogenerator to fit almost every application, In many instances the DC drive can be calibrated to accept different voltage tachogenerator outputs. This 60V/1000 voltage is the most used, and if needed this model is available in alternative output voltages such as 20V/1000RPM. When fitted to DC drives the tacho-generator increases the speed holding tolerance to typically less than 1% for high accuracy speed holding. If a tacho is not used, some DC thyristor drives can be utilised in (AVF) Armature voltage feedback.
