What supply voltages can I use?
There are 4 voltage ranges that cover all possible supply voltage possibilities 200 V, 400, 575, 690 VAC. Alternatively with a small amount of inrush control, supply the drive from a DC source.

Can I use an Encoder with the drive?
The M700 has the facility to handle up to 3 Encoders, Feedback, reference, and a simulated output, all from the D- type 15-Way connector. Flexible dual ports universal encoder supporting Incremental, SinCos, SSI, EnDat, HIPERFACE, BiSS and Resolver feedback types.

What are the Machine safety features?
The built-in machine safety features may omit the need for contactors or other additional control equipment. Safe Torque Off, independently assessed by TÜV to IEC 61800-5-2 SIL 3 and EN ISO 13849-1 Ple. 1 x Safe Torque Off (STO) terminal, (M702: 2 x STO). Certified to SIL3/PLe.

Can I easily swap the drive without manually reprogramming?
The drive parameters can be copied in several ways. When you are stuck on site and need to do it quickly the Smartcard (2214-0010-01) can be inserted

Can I connect a Thermistor straight to the drive?
Yes you can connect a PT100, PT1000 and PT2000 Thermistors.
