Brake Motors | 3 Phase 415VAC (With 1 Ph or 3 Ph Brake)
The TECA braked motor combines the asynchronous three phase motor with an electromagnetic D.C brake. Features include reliability, safe operation and quick braking times (Disconnection 5-80 milli-seconds).
The TECA braked motor is suitable for a variety of applications including:
- Saws
- Hoists
- Cranes
- Conveyors
- Drilling Products
- Lathes
Brake Motors provide the following:
- Braking of loads or Torques on the drive shaft
- Braking of rotating loads to reduce stopping times
- Braking operations to assist set-up precision
- Braking of machine parts, in accordance with safety standards
All TECA braked motors are CE marked and are made in accordance with the relavent safety standards, 2 pole and 4 pole motors from 0.25kw upto and including 15kw are available off the shelf, all other combinations are available on short lead times including 1ph braked motors and A.C brake motors.
