ACDC Drives stock a large range of spare parts, add on modules and accessories for the Inverters and motors we sell. A lot of the modern drives are built in a modular format, thus allowing the user to add on modules to increase the functionality of the base drive at a later date, or to build exactly the right drive for the required application. We also keep a large range for the systems we design and install, so can provide more obscure parts to you on very short lead times.
We stock a wide range of spares for Inverter Drives and Motors. Often, the part required is a simple and cost effective way to keep you up and running, but isn't listed on the site, if this is the case, please call us, as we can often source these parts for you.
Spare parts on the shelf in our warehouse include, specialist fuses, replacement boards for the Inverters we sell, Line reactors, keypads, thyristors and many more useful spares.
Many of the Inverters we sell are modular in design, meaning their functionality can be upgraded easily by just adding a simple card such as an Encoder feedback card or a MODBus Card.
We stock the vast majority of these cards, enabling you to add to your drive quickly and easily. We can also advise on communications options, and on system design when contemplating these upgrades.
Inverters and Motors are usually part of a larger system, this means you will need ancillary parts to get you up and running. We can provide all of these parts.

What is a Closed Loop Encoder?
A motor encoder is a rotary encoder mounted to an electric motor that provides closed loop feedback signals by tracking the speed and/or position of a motor shaft.
Encoders turn mechanical motion into an electrical signal that is used by the control system to monitor specific parameters of the application and make adjustments if necessary to maintain the machine operating as desired. The parameters monitored are determined by the type of application and can include speed, distance, RPM, position among others. Applications that utilize encoders or other sensors to control specific parameters are often referred to as closed-loop feedback or closed-loop control systems.

We have two large Warehouses, both in the Midlands, and can get things sent out to you on a variety of delivery options including pre 10am or same day where required.
