I purchased this motor to replace a 40 year old Italian one from our workshop dimension saw. When it arrived it was well packaged and definitely looked well made. I had compared the prices of several manufacturers and they ranged from above £350 to this one which was well below £100 (ex VAT) so I was expecting something that looked a little more ‘economical’.

Fitting it was easy, especially with the re-positionable foot mounts that allow you to turn the motor to any orientation which was crucial for the space it had to fit into our saw. It fired up and worked perfectly. It is quieter than the old worn motor and seems to be working very well.

This kit solved all the problems caused my my old inverter and got the lathe running as good as new. I should have invested years ago! Great bit of kit.

Quick delivery . I have not used a soft start before and the instructions were only just about OK . Got the hang of the control menus quickly . Its first start was impresive as the machine it was fitted too was brand new and had very high static friction in the shaft seals . It handled this start brilliantly. This would woul;d have been a light dimming event using a star delta starter!
