Sprint PLX DC Drives
The Sprint PLX series DC Drive is a fully digital DC drive system providing 5kW – 980kW output power. Available in 2Q (single direction), the Sprint PLX range uses 5 compact chassis sizes with models rated from 12A to 2250A output current. The PLX has an extremely versatile operating input voltage ranging from 12V – 500VAC as standard. 600V and 690VAC inputs are available as an option.
Programming the unit is designed to be simple. A large backlit alphanumeric display guides the user through a friendly menu structure to select options and parameter changes. Built in application software blocks are provided to be connected up as desired. Comprehensive fault monitoring and serial communications allow off site programming and remote diagnostics. All models are stock items. These units are very compact. The savings made possible in panel space and enclosure costs may be significant.

Why use a Sprint PLX Series Inverter?
The Sprint PLX DC Drive series will handle the most demanding motor control applications. High performance digital 2Q drives from 5kW - 1MW output.
Simple but Powerful
The unit comes from the factory with a built in default personality which will be suitable for most applications, but may be re-programmed by the user. Up to 3 total instrument recipes can be stored.

Fully Configurable & Easy To Control
All models include a 40-character alphanumeric backlit display that makes it easier to quickly navigate through an extensive range of software functions. The Sprint PLX is fitted with 17 digital inputs and 8 analogue inputs as standard, with 7 digital outputs and 4 analogue outputs.
The Sprint PLX is fully configurable by the user and comes equipped, as standard, with a comprehensive suite of application blocks. Centre winding macros, spindle orientation and a fully controllable field allow you to control DC motors in a wide range of industrial applications. The Sprint PLX also includes PLX Pilot+ a windows based, configuration and monitoring software package.
