What is an Inverter Control Kit?

Our 2.2kW control kits were designed to help convert lathes, milling machines and other applications to use inverters and their superior control characteristics. They are set up as ready to use kits, saving time sourcing individual parts and components. Plug and Play means you simply connect the drive and motor to the pendant, mount the motor set the parameters and away you go. We have an installation video and the help sheets for setting the parameters can be found below in the downloads section.

Alternative products with similar control pendants are available on the market, but ours feature only the very best quality components. We use these as we know that although we try, its easy when working in a machine based environment to drop things, or for things to get dirty, therefore, we use Industrial steel enclosures, and high quality switch gear to ensure the Control Kit stays in service for as long as possible.

Our Kits can be used with Industrial applications too. We can modify them to suit whatever you require, and frequently change the buttons for customers to suit.

Can I convert a 3 Phase Lathe to run from a Single Phase 230v supply with this kit?

You can indeed. If the Lathe already has a motor, but it is 3 Phase, then we can supply the Inverter and pendant and help to get you converted. Otherwise, you can buy the whole kit, in the correct mounting option, and retro fit the kit to your lathe. We have sold this kit to many happy customers now, so can vouch for how easy it is.

Can I convert a 3 Phase Milling Machine to run from a Single Phase 230v supply with this kit?

Yes you can. If the Milling Machine already has a motor, but it is 3 Phase, then we can supply the Inverter and pendant and help to get you converted, this will invoice converting the connections to a Delta setup. Otherwise, you can buy the whole kit, in the correct mounting option, and retro fit the kit to your Milling Machine. We use one of these single phase conversion kits on the Milling Machine in our workshop, so guarantee it works.

Will the kit convert other Inverter Controlled applications to Single Phase?

In many cases yes, we have sold a lot of kits to company's who are looking for speed control of a device, and need a basic kit to control the inverter with remotely. These kits have been used in applications such as rotating assembly jigs, welding turntables, and when paired with a gearbox, can provide near limitless options for speeds and torque outputs!

The kit includes the following:

- Parker AC10 Inverter 2.2kW 1 Phase See the Downloads section at the bottom of the page for the instructions on connections and for the parameter settings required.

- TEC 2.2kW 3 Phase Motor B3 Foot Mount (Use drop down box for alternative mounts) – Matched to the Inverter

- Inverter Control Pendant – With 2m Flying lead (standard (other lengths available)). Stop, Forward, Backwards, and Pot for full speed control

- All Cables Included and tagged with the correct terminal numbers to help make things simple.
