EMAS Switches can be used for a variety of applications to suit your needs. This foot switch is used for controlling machinery where operating with the hands is not possible, they are used to start and stop processes. Depending not environment, different switches are required with varying degrees of protection and user safety.
This foot switch has an aluminium exterior with an ingress protection of IP30. This means it is protected against solid tools and wires greater than 2.5mm, but it does not offer protection against dust or liquids. It is best suited for clean, dry industrial or commercial environments.
