Parker AC10 Features
AC10 IP66 Protection Standards
IP rating is also known as Ingress Protection, these standards are used to define the level of protection that certain item gets from elements such as water, dust and dirt. The rating is identified by the letters IP followed by two numbers; the first number stands for the level of protection from solids such as dust and dirt, the second number stands for the degree of protection against water. There are 6 digits for the first set of numbers, and 8 digits for the second.

Diversity
AC10 IP66 offers speed or torque control within the power range of 0.4 kW to 90 kW. Having features normally only associated with higher specification drives, including; IP66 protective enclosure, sensorless vector mode, output frequency up to 590 Hz and 3 phase 400 volt supplies in all 5 frame sizes, AC10 IP66 provides an optimised solution for OEM machine builders looking for a compact, cost-effective IP66 drive without compromising on performance.
Available as a Kit
If you require a 3 phase motor and an inverter as a combined kit please check out our control kits These kits combine the 5.5kW AC10 Inverter with a Motor and Control Pendant. These kits offer a pre-wired pendant which can be operated remotely.
Reliability
Proven technology and manufacturing techniques ensure AC10 has been engineered and built to deliver consistently outstanding levels of performance day in, day out ensuring maximum uptime and productivity. Thanks to its conformally coated PCBs, AC10 is able to withstand even the most arduous class 3C3 environment which many other drives in this class would struggle with, allowing you to operate AC10 with the utmost confidence in more applications.
Common Questions
Will this drive run from 230v Single Phase?
No, it will not run from a 230v supply, you will require a 415v three phase supply.
Does that mean it will power a Single Phase motor?
No, the Inverter will only work with a 3 Phase motor.
Will the Inverter provide speed control?
Yes, it is set up as standard to provide speed control from the up and down arrows on the keypad. It can also be configured to use a Potentiometer. If you require stop, start, forward, reverse and a Pot, please see our Control Kits.
What is the difference between 'Filtered' and 'Unfiltered'?
The filtered drive will prevent mains spikes from affecting the drive. If you are using this in a non industrial environment where no external protection will be used, we recommend using the filtered variant.
