TECDrive AC Inverters
TECDrive Inverter Drive
TechTop VFDs IP20 or IP66
The TECDrive VFD Inverter is a new product from the well established TEC team. Well known as market leaders in the supply of Motors, they have introduced the TECDrive series. The range consists of 1 Phase 240VAC Inverters and 3 Phase 240vac or 380-480VAC available in IP20 or IP66. Standard features are impressive, with Macros built in and features such as Bluetooth connectivity, end user ease of use is obviously paramount. An internal Cat C1 Filter also simplifies the selection process, as they are fitted as standard in each TECDrive. Modbus RTU and CANopen communication are also included as standard features, allowing for easy interfacing with more complex systems.
Focused on ease of use, TECDrive provides unrivalled simplicity of installation, connection and commissioning, allowing the user to benefit from precise motor control and energy savings within minutes.
The Inverter allows for Sensorless vector control for all motor types including Permanent Magnet, standard Induction motors and Brushless and Synchronous motors.
Optional Remote Keypad
With the vast majority of these inverters installed inside control panels, the option of a remote keypad can be really useful. Allowing the operator to monitor or change parameters from a convenient location, the Optipad and Optiport 2 are simple to configure and add flexibility.
The Optistick is a convenient cloning module. It allows for simple copying, backup, and restoration of drive parameters. It also adds Bluetooth functionality to allow the user to access Optitools Studio on a PC. These features combined all help you to commission the drive quicker, and get your application up and running in no time at all.
Installing the TECDrive could not be easier. Mounting on the smaller frame sizes takes seconds and can be acheived using either the built in DIN rail clip, or the keyholes. If you are using the drive for applications such as Fans, Pumps or Conveyors, the drive requires a single parameter to be set to get up and running (macro), it doesnt get much simpler than that!
